Storytelling in Action: Leadership Updates to the Board of Education

July 14, 2026

As part of the Abbotsford School District's commitment to meaningful storytelling, Leadership Team updates to the Board of Education throughout the 2025/26 school year included videos reflecting on the work accomplished during the 2024/25 school year. First presented at public Board meetings, these videos are now available for families, staff and community members to explore.

The collection brings together stories from every level of the education system, alongside the operational departments that support our schools and students each day. Together, they highlight the people, programs, services and partnerships that contribute to student success while demonstrating how collaboration across the district brings the Board of Education's Strategic Plan to life.

By sharing these updates through storytelling, the videos provide an engaging look at the work taking place across the district and the collective efforts advancing the Board's four strategic pillars: Student Success, Optimized Resources, Engaging Opportunities, and Progressive Workforce.

We invite you to explore the playlist and learn more about the many ways our teams work together to support students, strengthen our schools, and engage with our community.

This storytelling approach will continue throughout the 2026/27 school year, with a new collection of Leadership Team stories beginning this October that reflects on the work and accomplishments of the 2025/26 school year.
