Parent Handbook

Information for Parents - How do things work at Clayburn?

Below is a PDF of our Parent Information Booklet.   This booklet is provided to our incoming Grade 6 students and their parents at transition activities in the mid-spring of each year.

Each student may be provided a daily Planner during the first week of school in September, depending on their grade and teacher.  Teachers use planners as a communication tool between home and school.  Students are expected to write their homework, assignments, or tasks to be completed away from school in their planner daily.  Parents are asked to initial their child's planner each night to " communicate" that the parent has read their child's planner.  It is the child's responsibility to complete the tasks outlined in the planner nightly.

All students are provided a student handbook in September, which outlines the procedures and expectations at Clayburn Middle.
