Lost & Found
Clayburn Middle School maintains a clear and organized process for managing lost-and-found items. All items found throughout the school, including those collected from classrooms, common areas, change rooms, and outdoor spaces (e.g., sweaters and jackets), are placed in a designated, consolidated Lost and Found area located in the school foyer. Items are neatly arranged to support easy access and encourage students and families to check for missing belongings.
Valuable items, such as phones, jewelry, and other high-value personal belongings, are secured in the school office for safekeeping. Students may inquire at the office to retrieve these items.
Lost and found items remain available for one month, providing ample opportunity for owners to claim their belongings. At the end of each month, any unclaimed items are donated to charity in partnership with the local Salvation Army.
This process supports both organization within the school and the responsible redistribution of unclaimed items within the community.
