At Clayburn we are proud to offer the Young Entrepreneurship program under the direction of grade 7 classroom teachers.
Students research businesses based on an area of interest or talent. Students use their writing development to create business plans and their design thinking hats to invent, create and make the product for their "business."
The culmination of their real world learning is the Entrepreneurship Fair where our student sell their products to our students, our parents and to our community.
As an extension to this activity, students were asked to research 5 potential charities, and partial proceeds of each student's wages were donated to a charity of their choosing. A fabulous way our Clayburn students are giving back to our local community.
